The Care Collection receives a “Good” rating in CQC Home Care Inspection

November 15, 2018

The Care Collection has recently been awarded a “Good” rating in all 5 areas following its first Home Care Inspection by The Care Quality Commission (CQC).

CQC is the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. They carry out regular inspections of home care providers to ensure they are providing home care which is (1) safe, (2) caring, (3) effective, (4) responsive to people’s needs and (5) well-led.

As part of the inspection, CQC spoke to a number of Clients who provided extremely positive feedback with one Client commenting: “The staff are very caring, they can’t do enough for the people they support, it’s an amazing service” and another noting “it’s a 5 star service”.

Catherine Haigh, Director of Care said: “The Care Collection was founded to deliver the highest quality of home care to the community and so we are incredibly proud to have received this rating, which is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our outstanding team. By recruiting caring and committed people, and putting our Clients’ needs at the forefront of our service, we have created a compassionate culture which ensures the highest quality of home care now and in the future.”
