I started working professionally in care in 2016, after caring for my dad who was diagnosed with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis in 2000. I joined The Care Collection in January 2019, originally as a Carer before being promoted to my current role of Compliance Officer in May 2022.
I oversee carer and client compliance, support new staff and ensure the service continues to run safely and to the highest possible standards. I am currently completing my Level 3 in Health and Social Care which has been funded by the company. I am also newly qualified as the lead Autism and Learning Disability trainer.

We rigorously screen our Carers to ensure their suitability for the role. This includes telephone interviews, face-to-face interviews, reference checks and an Enhanced Criminal Record Check. Our Carers have a positive “can do” outlook and always wear a smile.
Our Carers undertake a highly developed training programme that has been skilfully created to guarantee excellence. We have strong links with training providers and actively encourage our Carers to become experts in supporting more complex care needs.
