We’re looking for kind, reliable and compassionate people to join our team of Home Care Assistants in Huddersfield and surrounding areas. Our carers support clients of all ages, from children and young people to adults and older clients, helping each person live as independently and comfortably as possible in their own home. We take time to get to know both our clients and our carers, matching you based on your preferences, skills and personality

 What we offer:

  • Pay from £13.00–£16.00 per hour (bank holidays £16 p/h
  • Paid mileage between visits (30p per mile
  • One-hour minimum visits – no rushing, time to build relationship
  • Alternate weekends off and rotas given 4 weeks in advance
  • 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) and pension scheme
  • Paid training and support to gain diploma qualifications
  • Carer awards, referral scheme, and a supportive, friendly team

 About the role: 

You’ll support people in their own homes, helping them live independently with dignity and respect. This may include medication support, personal care, meal preparation, light household tasks, and companionship.
Requirements:

All you need is:

  • A caring, empathetic nature
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle

 Full training and ongoing support provided. We also value unpaid caring experience.
