Support Worker Wakefield Job
Permanent Part or Full time
Peak times for calls are around meal times. Staff are therefore required to work some hours in the morning AND/OR evening. Staff will also be required to work alternate weekends.
The Care Collection is recruiting a Support Worker to support Clients in Wakefield and surrounding areas. We’re looking for a self-motivated and well-organised individual to support and give care to our Clients in their own homes. This includes supporting via:
- Companionship – assisting with hobbies, accompanying to social events and appointments, helping keeping in touch with loved ones and general companionship support.
- Domestic Support – such as meal prep, house-keeping, overseeing home deliveries, supervising home maintenance, and assistance with day-to-day tasks.
- Personal Care – Assisting with morning wake up/ evening tuck in, assisting with washing, dressing, eating and diet and nutrition. As well as providing assistance with medication and providing toilet and incontinence care.
- Complex Care – Assisting with Dementia care, end of life care, respiratory care, Parkinson’s care and more.
You don’t need any previous experience or qualifications to apply for this role. Full training by our in-house team of experts will be given, and you’ll be given the opportunity to learn new skills and qualifications as your career progresses with The Care Collection.
